On Wednesday, Sept. 25 the JV Cheer had their first competition of the fall season. They went against many other schools at the competition held at South Lakes High School, and ended finishing in fourth place, only missing the third place spot by three points. The team put in a lot of preparation for the first competition- practicing their routines and conditioning almost everyday after school- and it certainly paid off as the team hit all of their stunts. They’re looking to continue improving as the season progresses, and we can’t wait to keep cheering them on!
“We felt really good about the competition,” freshman Kyra Gordon said. “We were so happy that we hit zero and placed fourth by three points.”
“I am looking forward to future competitions and our pink out game in October.” Gordon said.
