Since the start of the 2024-2025 school year, John Champe High School and many other Loudoun County schools have changed their bell schedules. Recharge was between the first and second blocks from 10:57 to 11:07 a.m. Now, it is in the afternoon from 2:38 to 2:48 p.m. “I dislike the new bell schedule this year,” senior Juliann Regi expresses. “Especially since recharge isn’t until the end of the day,” Regi said. “It doesn’t make sense to have recharge at the end of the day, as we would only have one block left until the school day ends,” additionally. “And at that point, we should just go straight to our 4th block classes.” For the seniors having their last year’s schedule changed, their school days feel much different. Though it has been over one month since the start of the 2024-25 school year, students are starting to get used to the new schedule.
