Starting from the end of last school year, the school library and front office underwent renovations to prepare for their switch in locations this year. Over the summer, contractors worked to prepare these areas for the switch by giving the old library new walls and doors for rooms and the old office an open concept look for bookshelves. The librarians are working to move their books and supplies from Sept. 16 – 30. While they wait for their new space, the librarians currently reside in the temporary library in room 1313.
”When we moved in here, we realized this space is very cozy and quiet and so it’s given us a different environment that has been really really nice,” librarian Sarah Anderson said. “but now that we’ve been here for an extended period of time it’s starting to feel a little cramped and a little small and so I think we’re very much ready to move into our new space so we can get back to providing all of the different activities we usually do.”
