The John Champe club fair took place this week after being postponed. As students and staff continue to get back into their routine, they are also getting back into clubs they were a part of last year. Many clubs have become synonymous with John Champe such as DECA, FBLA and Model UN, these clubs have forged their own identity and a community has been created by the members which welcomes everyone. Other clubs such as the Black Student Association (BSU) and Knights For Christ focus on teaching its members more about themselves through means of religion and culture.
“The fair is important because it allows students to become a part of something that is bigger than themselves,” junior Charlie Currier said. “It allows the new students and freshmen to broaden their horizons and form a bond with people they meet through these clubs, and that’s what we want to do through Knights For Christ.”
