As the ‘24-’25 school year has begun, an abundance of Champe students have taken the initiative to start their own clubs and organizations, as well as run a chapter of existing organizations. Some of these include; Love For Our Elders, a non-profit chapter that sends letters to the elderly to make them feel less alone, co-founded by Roshini Muthu and Jerusha Condicoppula, and Pakistani Student Association, a club founded by Ayesha Mubasher, that works to provide a sense of community among Pakistani students here at Champe, and Health 2 Heart, co-founded by Bhavya Annamreddy and Anya Talreja, a club promoting student involvement in health and wellness related issues.
“Health to Hearts is a branch of the H2H club started by our friends at the Academies since we liked the club’s message so much, we wanted to bring a branch over to Champe,” Heart 2 Health co-founder Bhavya Annamreddy said. “ Our plans for the club currently include making handmade idioms like cards and bracelets for distribution within the nova area, as well as allowing students to write health-related literature to be published in the H2H magazine.”
