Champe Softball has been trying their best to make it to the States this year. The team competed in the regional championship on Thursday May 30th. In order to show team spirit and represent our school, the players tried and made sure they dressed out in navy as much as possible for the Navy Out game. The team wore blue mascara, face paint, hair spray etc to show Champe spirit. Though our softball team didn’t win their game against Woodgrove, they are still able to qualify and will be competing for states on Tuesday June 4th. This is the first time in Champe Softball history for our team to make it this far and they are currently ranked 8th in the whole state. We are very proud of our Knights!
“I am really proud of us,” sophomore Ruby Price said. “I think if we play well and work hard we can try to win.”
