Senior Decision day was held at Champe this Monday, where seniors would wear their colleges on their clothes as a way of officially announcing where they are going to school next year. This is an event that is participated in at most schools, although they have different dates. A lot of the seniors planned to come to school a little earlier than usual to take pictures with their friends and talk to the rest of their senior class. They also picked up their graduation caps and gowns on Monday, really making their graduation from high school and entrance into college official.
“I participated by wearing a shirt representing my college and celebrating with my friends,” senior Aiza Jav said, “getting my cap and gown made me feel really old and also led me to reflect on how far we’ve come.”
The senior class has been together since they started school, and all the life-long friendships will stick with them wherever they end up in the fall.
