John Champe regular season Spring sports are coming to an end. Baseball, soccer, lacrosse, and some track athletes have all qualified for district playoffs. To celebrate the accomplishment, many of the athletes bleached their hair and some got buzz cuts. It has become a trend for when you or your team makes the playoffs.
“I buzzed and bleached my hair for playoff baseball. Gotta look sty for Playoffs,” sophomore Red Jackson said. “My brother buzzed and bleached with me [and] a bunch of my other teammates bleached with me.”
The trend has gone on for quite some years now and is a good way of bringing teammates together in a time where they need each other most.
