This week marks National Teacher Appreciation Week, a time for students from around the world to have the opportunity to express their love and gratitude for their favorite teachers. At John Champe, students are actively participating in this celebration to give back to their teachers. The DECA club has gone a step further to showcase and highlight the significance of Teacher Appreciation Week by having its members capture a photo together with their favorite teacher. These photographs will be printed out and hung on the wall for everyone to see. The DECA club has implemented a wonderful idea to express appreciation and honor for teachers and their loving support.
“I think that students should be showing appreciation to teachers because of all they do,” junior Shreyu Sharma said. “I am thankful and proud of all of the students that gave up their time to help support our wonderful staff.”
