Senior assassin, an elimination game played by seniors in high school around the country, has been a topic of discussion among parents in Loudoun County recently. On May 3rd, LCPS sent out a notice alerting families that the game is not affiliated with LCPS schools nor do they condone students participating. The statement was posted on the official Loudoun County Public schools website along with all of their official social media pages. This notice has sparked discussions among parents with the comment sections flooded with arguments.
“Senior assassin has been going on forever,” senior Thi Tran said, “It’s fun and we have rules that keep players in-check.”
