Boys Lacrosse has three home games the week of April 8th. Two of the games are rescheduled games, the Monday game against Tuscarora and the Tuesday game against Dominion. However, Champe students are most excited for the Friday game against Freedom. Freedom High School is notoriously known as a big rival school; so every time a Champe sport plays them, fans show out. The Boys Lacrosse team is predicting there to be a large crowd because the game is home. Last year Freedom won, so the coaches have been prepping the boys for a big game.
“The boys are excited, even though we have a disadvantage talent wise,” Senior defenseman, Jude Frontani, said. “Freedom has always been good, but we are going to work hard regardless.”
