The week of April 1st to April 5th is National Assistant Principals Week. This week was first celebrated in 2019 to recognize and appreciate the work done by assistant principals across the world. In Champe our assistant principals are Ms. Ausel, Ms. Kinzer, Ms. Sargeant, and Mr. Wright. Our assistant principals meet with parents, have mandatory lunch duty, and attend a multitude of meetings to help our school. They work on student’s behavioral issues and supervise the activities and media at Champe. Because our assistant principals are always working to improve our school, valuing their efforts is important. The NASSP, the National Association of Secondary School Principals, has E-Cards to send to assistant principals this week to show our appreciation. Champe has also given our amazing assistant principals a shout-out in their newsletter and morning announcements.
“We are so grateful for the work the assistant principals do for our school,” junior Amanda Khong said. “Make sure to show your appreciation for our principals this week!”
