A school-wide email was made confirming the promotion of Mr. Tyson, our principal. He has been promoted to Executive Principal, meaning he will be leaving John Champe High School. His last official day will be on April 5th, 2024, and many students are upset about the news, some even in tears.
According to the email, “Champe is one of the best jobs in the world because of you”, Tyson said, “I can’t fully express how much of a blessing it has been to serve this community and for the way you have support our school, students, and staff.”
Many students have been influenced by Tyson, and wish him the best of luck on his future endeavors!
