On Friday, March 15th, the Champe baseball team took down the visiting Loudoun Valley Vikings in an exciting matchup. At the end of seven innings the final score was 3-2 knights. The Vikings led 2-1 through 6 innings appearing to have won the game but the knights pulled ahead scoring two runs in the last inning. The win was a result of a double that was hit by Sophomore, Nick Warner. This win brings Champe’s record to two wins and zero losses for the season so far.
“It was a great game,” sophomore Nick Warner said.”I’m happy to have closed it out for my team.”
