TikTok is one of the most popular Social Media platforms among students. Congress feels it is dangerous as it can be addicting and contains harmful content. Students at John Champe and all over America use the app during class time and are distracted from their work. This is why TikTok is being banned in America in the coming months.
“The ban of TikTok in the USA is mostly a good thing because it’s extremely addictive,” freshmen Yunus Adiyaman says. “I feel like the TikTok ban is a big start to the end of many problems.”
Although some students dislike that they may no longer be able to use their favorite social media app, others are hopeful that the ban has a positive impact.
