Even though the NFL ended with the Super Bowl in February, this year’s Free Agency through two days has been very exciting. For those who don’t know what Free Agency is, it’s a period at the end of the season where players who no longer are on a team can get signed by any team. Big time players like Kirk Cousins can get large contracts, in fact Cousins is on the road to beat Tom Brady’s record for most career earnings, after signing a $180 million contract with the Atlanta Falcons. Champe NFL fans have been very excited and talkative about the Free Agency.
“Getting him [Derrick Henry], watching him play, it’s gonna be fun to watch,” freshman Sahil Sambgani said. “It’s a game changer and I know a lot of my friends are excited.”
Lots of other Ravens fans were excited including Junior Josh Asante also has high hopes for his Ravens. Mikey Gustin and Adam Ghorbani, two sophomores are excited about the Bears and Commanders respectively. The very large football community at Champe will no doubt be excited for the next NFL season.
