This week on Thursday, February 29th, 2024, BSU held a breakfast to give back to the staff. They gave out free donuts and coffee with the help of Dash In to honor the last day of Black History Month. BSU was thankful for their successes this month and wanted to celebrate the end of a great few weeks. BSU properly educated the students at Champe about black culture by sharing fun facts about famous black people on the announcements, holding a hall display show, having a BSU photoshoot day, and more. They ended the month making sure that students were all decked out in red green and black to support Pan African Day.
“We always make sure to give back to our community,” junior Jadyn Mae said, “and these donuts and coffee are our way of saying thank you to our wonderful staff!”
