Spring Tryouts Around The Corner

The John Champe High School 2024 season spring tryouts are right around the corner! Tryouts will take place the week of February 19th to 23rd. The sports offered will be soccer, lacrosse, tennis, baseball, softball and outdoor track. Information about each sports tryouts can be found on the Champe Athletics website, or on the Champe Athletics website.

“I am super excited for the spring season,” senior Casey Palmisano said. “I am trying out a new sport so I hope that transition is easy.”

Grace McBride is a senior at John Champe High School, and a third year veteran of the Round Table Review Newspaper Staff. When Grace was a sophomore, there were a mere six members on staff. After a conflict with her Spanish teacher, Grace became the seventh. Some of Grace’s favorite previous pieces to write were College Football Recaps and Basketball Editorials. In Grace’s free time, she works as both a lifeguard and gym receptionist and enjoys hanging out with her friends. Grace is also a competitive cheerleader, spending lots of time at practice in and out of Champe. In the future, Grace strives to pursue law at the University of Alabama. She hopes to have a successful and productive final year as a senior and Sports Section Editor.
