As more than half of the school year has passed, the time has come for the students to elect their representatives in the student council for the next year. Both the student council elections and the SCA elections will be happening this week. While the student council focuses more on each grade and their activities, SCA takes charge of the activities for the whole school. The candidates from each grade have invested a significant amount of time in creating promotional materials, such as videos and posters, to promote themselves and their goals. The voting took place on February 27th, next to the cafeteria, and every voter received fruit snacks and stickers. The results were also announced during the last block of the same day. Congratulations to the winners of each grade and for Nsaya Davis, as SCA president, and Luke Shersha, for SCA vice president, for the 2024-2025 school year.
“I think it’s important to vote to have good leadership next year,” sophomore Mansi Kharche said. “I voted for the person I thought would do best, and I think everyone should do the same!”
