Champe’s sources of strength is holding a lunch break on February the 16th. Sources of strength is a global school-based program where students come together to tackle the many issues regarding mental health. They address mental health issues and offer resources to help students. Some of these resources include lunch breaks, where students are offered fun activities and a break from the school day. Resources like these are kept to help students de-stress from their everyday worries. On the 16th, Sources of strength will offer students arts and craft activities to do during their lunchtime while playing the Disney movie Mulan.
“We got to do crafts in the Sources of Strength lunch break and it was so fun,” said sophomore Soli Kebreab. “I really enjoyed it, and it was a very relaxing time for me too.”
