This week, 1/29 – 2/1, Champe students celebrated their winter spirit week by dressing up for specific themes and gaining class points. Monday was Zoom meeting day where students dressed up formally on top with lounging wear as their bottoms. On Tuesday students wore their ski outfits for Play in the Snow day. Wednesday was Frostbite, Blue Out day and Thursday was Board Game day with individual sub themes for each class. Freshmen were Monopoly, sophomores were subway surfers, juniors were Jumanji, seniors were Candy Land, and staff were Classic Games. Finally Friday was class color day where different colors were assigned to each class. Freshmen were gray, sophomores were red, juniors were blue, seniors were pink, and staff were green. As classes compete for class points, the final leaderboard puts juniors first, seniors second, freshmen at third place and finally sophomores in last place.
“Dressing up is always so exciting,” sophomore Soli Kebreab said. “I think our class could have more spirit but otherwise spirit weeks are always so much fun!”
