There is a gas leak at Mercer Middle School that occurred yesterday, January 11. Many students at Champe came from Mercer. As well as this, many siblings of Champe students currently attend Mercer. There was no school because of the leak. Junior Issac Polanco’s little sister attends Mercer.
“I know my sister’s happy about it,” Polanco says. “She doesn’t have to go to school.”
Mercer is still working on the issue and is updating families on it.
