On Monday, January 8th, 2024, at the NRG Stadium in Houston, Texas, The University of Michigan went head to head against the University of Washington in the College Playoff Finals. The Michigan Wolverines and the Washington Huskies both went into the game 14-0, but Michigan came out on top, winning 34-13, resulting in an undefeated season for the Wolverines. However, the Wolverines did not have the easiest of season, with allegations of a sign-stealing scheme led by a former staff member, and their Coach absent for 6 games, Michigan still managed to prevail and come out on top.
“The game was very interesting to watch considering that both teams went in undefeated,” junior Aiden Gayles said. “The atmosphere looked really fun at the game.”
“I play football myself so seeing how they play in college was cool to watch,” Gayles said, “and although Michigan never trailed the game was still very good, i’m glad that they won.”
