Early decision results just came out and that means a lot for current Champe seniors. Early Decision (ED) is a college admissions process that allows high school seniors to submit their college applications early, usually by November 1st or 15th of their senior year, and receive an admission decision in December. If admitted under Early Decision, students are generally obligated to enroll in that particular college and withdraw any applications submitted to other institutions. It requires students to commit to that college so it’s a big deal to apply that way. Many students at Champe were graced with acceptances from colleges such as University of Virginia and Virginia Tech.
“Applying Early decision was a really great opportunity for me,” senior Anjali Potu said. “It feels great to finsh this process early and be committed.”
