The auditions for the Avalon theater play, “Cinderella,” will be occurring on the dates of April 25th to April 27th. This play will be a special version of Rodgers’ and Hammerstein’s’ version of Cinderella performed by students at Champe. The auditions will be at 4:30, in the Blackbox area of the school. This is exciting because of the fact that this is the first time that the theater is performing Cinderella as a major production. This musical is being presented on behalf of the organization that made the play’s script. This organization is the Rodgers and Hammerstein organization. Many students are excited for whenever the play will eventually release, and wish to see who gets casted into each part.
“I’m very excited for the play,” sophomore Balajishnu Yabaluri said, “because it is one of my favorite stories, and I would love to see fellow students adapt the story to the best of their ability. I’ll be waiting for it eagerly.”
