John Champe Choir is holding its annual Winter Concert this Wednesday the 13th. The John Champe Choir Concert consists of groups called the Decibels, Concords, and other Honor Choir groups. The Honor Choir groups consist of Champe Singers, Acapella, and Bella Voce. All of the Choir groups performed two songs to match the theme of Winter. This included songs like, “You’re a Mean One Mr.Grinch,” which represented the theme, sung by the group Champe Singers. The Choir students spent much effort and time working to perfect their performance through after-school and morning rehearsals and have been working on this since school started.
“As someone who is in the Honor Choir groups, we worked really hard to make it sound as good as it does on stage,” sophomore Sree Bethanabothla said. “Please come out and watch our concert, I promise it will be worth it!”
