College-bound seniors at Champe have been working extremely hard to reach their post-graduate goals, attending meetings, writing, and rewriting essays, and some, getting scouted by coaches for athletics. Some of our athletes have recently committed to D1 colleges for their respective sport. This process started as early as last 2022 for many of the high-achieving students at Champe. Recently announced, one of the first seniors to commit, Bryce Rohr, signed to Arizona State as a member of their 2023-2024 competitive swim team. He is currently a captain for Champe’s Varsity swim team, attesting to the caliber of athletic talent here at Champe.
“Before I gave my verbal commitment I had declined about fifty other schools of which I had spent hours of time on the phone with. After that I was just waiting till I could apply and legally sign with them,” Rohr said. “Through the process I learned alot about recruiting and what so many schools had to offer, and how it’s about finding the right fit for your future.”
