On November 7, 2023 House and State Elections were held, here in Virginia, Democrats won the house and maintained their state power, gaining control over the Virginia legislature with 6 democratic house seats to 5 republican house seats. Since 2020, the General Assembly’s power had been divided, but with the democratic party winning the recent election the power will no longer be divided.
