The First Quarter ends on October 27th and many students are having mixed feelings about it. Some students are thrilled with their grades and their classes, while others aren’t as confident in the first quarter in a new grade or school. Chloe Chang, an SCA member and sophomore, talks about the struggles she has been through during the first quarter.
“So far, sophomore year is so much different than my freshmen year,” Chang said, “not only are my classes assigning more work than they did last year, I’m spending a lot more time outside of school doing school work, but I actually enjoy it when I understand the material.”
Although the start of the school year has been different, it will take some time to adjust. Students are excited to continue their hard work even though it can be a lot of time and effort at times. Let’s continue the school year with good attitudes and a good work ethic!
