Varsity Volleyball ended their season with a successful last home game against Park View High School. The team extended their season by a few games, with it coming to an end at an away game against Loudoun County High School. Despite the record of the team for the 2023 season, they finished the game versus Park View in about 50 minutes with ease.
The season as a whole had some very positive and memorable moments for many players. Junior Mikayla Belev played for the Varsity team this fall and shares her favorite parts. “It was a great junior season for me, I had tons of fun playing the sport I love with my teammates who made me feel so welcomed,” Belev said. For the game against Park View, she shares the energy the team had going into the game and while playing, “I think it made it all the more chill and easy to have fun during the game. Of course, we took it seriously but we also had so much fun.”
The show for the last home game was also a good amount of people, with some fun moments between the players and fans throughout.
