The John Champe Cross Country team competed at their district race at Woodgrove High School on Wednesday, October 25, 2023. Runners left the school at around 11:00 AM to go to Woodgrove High School. The race then started at around 12:30 and ended later in the day. After this race, the qualifiers will then go on to compete at Regionals in Oatlands. Runners who qualified for Oatlands include Nicholas Rini, Caitlin Cintron, Sara Ayd, and Alaa Aboelenein.
“The race on Wednesday went awesome,” Cross Country Coach Brandon said. “The girls did amazing, they very much surprised a lot of people and we almost made it to regionals as a team.”
The qualifying racers will then go on to compete at Regionals in Oatlands.
