The DECA club had its second workshop meeting this week involving its members to collaborate on discussing ethical methods to solve relevant issues within the business industry. These workshops occur every week with its leaders presenting lessons and case studies to provide a positive experience for students and prepare them for this year’s competition. Members of DECA are highly encouraged to join workshops and other events as it sharpens their skills of the 21st century such as creativity, innovation, critical thinking, communication, and much more that are beneficial for their entrepreneurial career.
“We didn’t have workshops last year or even the year before,” said DECA’s president-elect, Nripesh Dahal. “We started it this year to give everyone an understanding of what to do so it’s not overwhelming and so they can get confidence in their ability overtime.”
