The PSAT/NMSQT was held this week on Wednesday, October 11. The PSAT is a standardized test administered by the College Board and sponsored by the National Merit Scholarship program. JCHS freshmen, sophomores, and juniors took this test. The unique thing about this year’s PSAT is that it is now digital.
“It was an interesting and definitely different experience, ” junior Jaswanthi Vutukuri said, “though I believe the test went well for me at least.”
College Board is taking a different approach with all these new changes with the PSAT, as it is also adaptive. We can only wait and see what these changes might result in regarding the future of merit-based tests.
