On Sunday, September 24th, the College Fair will be held at Independence High School for students from Loudoun County. There will be over 70 plus colleges attending the fair to inform high school students about their schools and tell them about the school.
“Schools that I hope will be there are the University of Pittsburgh and the University of Temple,” senior Nina Perez said. “Those are the colleges I’m most interested in and would love to go to school there.” Independence High School has not provided Champe with a list of schools that are attending the fair so students’ will have to wait and see what schools will be there.
“I’m nervous and excited to start preparing myself for going to college and being more independent and starting fresh,” Perez said, “but I’m also terrified to start this new chapter of my life where I won’t have my family and friends with me and I have to take care of myself.”
