Knights Take Down the Bobcats
On Wednesday, April 12th, the Knights softball team defeated the Battlefield Bobcats 7-1. This win was the first time in program history that the Champe softball team has beat Battlefield. Pitcher, Ella Dawson, had an outstanding game throwing 12 strikeouts and ultimately rallying her team to close out this big win. So far this year these girls have keep the season close, currently ranking 4th in the cedar run district.
“Everyone was locked in since the first pitch was thrown,’ junior, Ella Dawson said. “Energy was high and it really was a team effort to win 7-1.”
