New Teacher Highlight – Lauren Reed

New week means a new teacher highlight! This week we welcome English Teacher and Dance Team Coach Lauren Reed. Before coming here to Champe she completed her Master’s degree in Curriculum and Instruction at George Mason University. Reed currently teaches English 9 and 11 Honors.

“[So far this year] I’ve enjoyed connecting with all students who have stepped into my classroom whether they are [one of my] current students, or someone who is just asking for help,” Reed said.

“I’m looking forward to seeing my students continue to grow and succeed in all aspects [such as] academics, athletics, arts, and more…” Reed said. “As a dance team coach I’m also excited to see how the dance team’s confidence continues to grow with their performances throughout the year!” Make sure to say ‘hi’ to Reed in the hallways!
