Semester End for Champe

On January 20th, the second quarter, the first semester, ends for LCPS students. The end of a quarter is always stressful for students and teachers alike regarding grades and assignments. However, the end of a semester has more finality. Final grades are set in stone, and half of the school year is over.

“This week and the past has been very stressful for me, ” junior Sreya Rajkumar said. “It feels like all the work piles up, and there is a lot of pressure.”

Students often deal with stress at the end of a semester because of missing assignments to make up, tests to retake, and work to catch up on. With a good schedule and a positive attitude, getting through the final stretch of a semester should become more manageable.
