Miss USA Wins Miss Universe 2023

R´Bonney Gabriel, Miss USA, was crowned as Miss Universe on Saturday, January 14th, 2023, at the annual Miss Universe pageant. Gabriel took home the win after a long and hard competition, starting with winning her state crown, Miss Texas for many years before winning the title during her last year of eligibility. She then went on to win Miss USA on October 3rd, 2022, over runner-up Megan Romano of North Carolina. Following this, she went on to win Miss Universe on a platform of inclusivity and sustainability for all people. This win is historic in that she is the first ever Filipino-American woman to win the Miss Universe title.
