Woodgrove High School Lockdown

Woodgrove High School went into lockdown this Thursday, January 12th, after a threat was allegedly made against the school. The woman who made the threat is being taken for psychiatric treatment. The nature of the threat is currently unknown.

“School threats are no joke, and they have to be taken seriously, ” sophomore Jaswanthi Vutukuri said. “I would be terrified if I was a Woodgrove student.”

This was the second threat this week to a county school. On Tuesday, January 10th, a student allegedly threatened Harper Park Middle School in Leesburg. The Sheriff’s Office urges people to use the Safe2Talk app to report any suspicious and alarming behavior regarding the community.
