Buffalo Bills Player Collapses during Monday Night Football Game
On Monday night, the Cincinnati Bengals and the Buffalo bills were set to faceoff. This game would determine the standings of many others teams in their conference. Early in the first quarter though, Bills player, Damar Hamlin, collapsed on the field. After what seemed to be a routine tackle he stood up, took a step, and then proceeded to fall backwards. His condition on the field was critical and remained so throughout his first couple days in the hospital. Hamlin’s injury has brought up many conversations about the safety of football.
¨It was tough to watch,¨ junior, Jude Frontani said. ¨Were all just hoping for Damar to have a speedy recovery.¨
If there´s one positive outcome of this tragedy it’s the overwhelming support shown by football fans all over the country.
