Loudoun’s New Escape Room

Many are excited as Loudoun County plans to open a new, large escape room called The Great Xcape. This escape room will open in the spring at the Dulles Town Center Mall in Sterling. The Great Xcape is set to take up 20,000 square feet, being able to host 200 people. Some activities The Great Xcape plans to implement are mystery murder dinners, story-themed rooms, and a party room.

“I really enjoy escape rooms as I am very competitive, but when actually participating in one can be harder than it seems,” junior Lekha Shetty said. “I am excited for this new escape room as it will give me more experience solving them.”

Escape rooms are always a fun pastime for those who love teamwork and adventures. It may seem like a wild goose chase at times, having to scan the rooms for clues and solve the mystery quickly, but with practice, one can attain knowledge and collaboration skills.
