New Teacher Highlight – Jessica Spencer

As we welcome a new week we also welcome English teacher Jessica Spencer! This is her first year teaching, but she was a student teacher at Champe last Spring. Spencer teaches English 9 and 10.

Spencer states that her goal this year is to mainly “…get used to being a teacher, and making connections with my students, and being confident in everything that I do as a teacher.

Spencer comments that she is really looking forward to “…getting to know the students more. I know them pretty well so far, but the more you teach them, the more you talk to them, the more you get to know them. The students just make this job so fun”. Make sure to say ‘hi’ to Spencer in the hallways, and give her a warm welcome!
