Judge Issues Nationwide Pause on Biden’s Vaccine Mandate

On Tuesday, a Federal Judge from Georgia blocked the Biden Administration’s vaccine mandate.

As a result of the urge to get more Americans to get vaccinated, several states have issued lawsuits against the Biden Administration and their vaccine mandates. These states have claimed that the President has overstepped their authority to require American workers to get the shot. The Biden Administration had originally issued a requirement for federal employees to be fully vaccinated by January 18, 2022. However, there were limitations for those who had medical and religious reasons. This halt not only pushed back the date, but also showed a light for those who were not yet ready to get the vaccine.

“This halt is a relief to those who were in fear of being forced to choose between this vaccine and their livelihood,” Georgia Governor Brian Kemp said in an article by CBS News.
